This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop infrastructure utilizing Terraform/OpenTofu, Python, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and machine learning teams to establish, maintain, and enhance cloud infrastructure and developer experience.
• Create, maintain, and streamline internal platform tools, developer templates, and self-service CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks through scripting languages.
• Operationalize cloud security by remediating vulnerabilities, implementing IAM policies, and establishing compliance guardrails in platform pipelines.
• Monitor and assess systems and network performance, implementing proactive measures to ensure infrastructure availability and reliability.
• Enforce IAM processes and tools that support data privacy and protection compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers to address security vulnerabilities.
• Modernize platform tooling, enhance the production EKS environment, and optimize AWS RDS, Aurora, and ElastiCache data stores.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure role, with a focus on public cloud environments; AWS experience is required.
• Proficiency with AWS, particularly EKS, SageMaker, EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, KMS, RDS, ELB/ALB, MWAA, and Identity Center.
• Proven experience in building modular, reusable Terraform or OpenTofu infrastructure.
• Experience in creating and managing Helm templates and packages.
• Hands-on experience developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and/or ArgoCD.
• Practical experience administering, scaling, and troubleshooting multi-tenant Kubernetes (EKS) environments in a production setting.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation scripts, tools, and integrations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
