Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and address complex technical issues within IT environments;

• Apply system hardening and security measures to safeguard infrastructure, including container security;

• Architect and implement effective designs utilizing containers and Kubernetes;

• Streamline release and deployment processes and integrate with CI/CD tools to enhance development and delivery efficiency;

• Create scalable and robust solutions, ensuring high availability and optimal performance;

• Optimize resources and control costs across cloud and infrastructure settings;

• Design and oversee databases for high availability, employing techniques such as sharding and replication;

• Implement extensive monitoring and observability solutions, incorporating alerting and incident management systems;

• Conduct security assessments and ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations;

• Design and integrate scalable serverless architectures while managing serverless functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, or other technology-related fields;

• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving sophisticated technical challenges in IT environments;

• Experience in implementing system hardening and advanced security measures to protect infrastructure;

• Capability to design and implement architectures using containers, ensuring both efficiency and scalability;

• Understanding of security best practices for container environments, including Docker and Kubernetes;

• Skilled in integrating and automating CI/CD processes to facilitate development and continuous delivery pipelines;

• Ability to automate intricate release and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability;

• Proven experience in designing scalable and resilient solutions, ensuring high availability and performance;

• Competence in managing and optimizing costs and resources within cloud and infrastructure environments;

• Experience in designing and managing large-scale Kubernetes infrastructures, ensuring efficiency and scalability;

• Familiarity with implementing monitoring and observability solutions for extensive and complex environments;

• Ability to integrate alerting systems and establish effective incident response protocols;

• Experience in conducting security audits and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations;

• Capability to integrate serverless functions with other infrastructure elements to create cohesive and functional solutions.
