Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Implement top-tier cloud-based solutions on AWS using infrastructure as code.

• Deploy, configure, and manage infrastructure setups for various AWS services, leveraging Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

• Collaborate with technical stakeholders, including application development, networking, infrastructure, information security, risk management, enterprise identity and access management, and security operations.

• Facilitate and enhance the automation of application and infrastructure environments.

• Join a team dedicated to constructing cloud infrastructure, with knowledge of AMI, Containers, and serverless functions.

• Create, maintain, and enhance continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for the deployment of features, fixes, and system updates across development, integration, and production environments.

• Establish, integrate, and sustain a reliable and scalable suite of CI/CD tools to support development, testing, and security scanning.

• Implement Amazon CloudWatch and other third-party monitoring solutions to ensure continuous monitoring, track all system aspects, infrastructure performance, application errors, and compile metrics.

• Analyze both functional and non-functional business requirements, convert them into technical operational needs, and suggest CI/CD pipelines with appropriate tools and plugins.

• Make a significant impact as part of a small team that is challenging the status quo.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines with integration of open-source plugins.

• More than 3 years of experience in DevOps/Agile/Scrum environments and development processes.

• At least 5 years of substantial hands-on experience with configuration management, cloud orchestration, and automation tools within AWS environments.

• 5+ years of experience in provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications within AWS cloud environments.

• Over 2 years of experience in identifying and implementing automation for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.

• More than 5 years of experience writing infrastructure as code with Terraform.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.

• Must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and perform all work within the United States.

• Must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.
