This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take ownership of and facilitate software delivery processes, covering build, deployment, release, and environment management across various intricate applications and infrastructure settings.
• Create, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines utilized for building, testing, securing, and deploying applications with improved efficiency, consistency, resiliency, and scalability.
• Design, provision, configure, and sustain infrastructure in both cloud and hosted environments by employing automation and infrastructure as code methodologies.
• Lead intricate technical projects or cross-functional workstreams, which includes planning, coordinating dependencies, identifying risks, overseeing execution, and ensuring successful delivery of results.
• Offer technical leadership across DevOps and platform engineering initiatives by establishing direction for implementation strategies, reviewing designs, advocating best practices, and influencing technical decisions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers through technical coaching, knowledge sharing, solution assessments, and hands-on support to enhance team capabilities and delivery quality.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to applications, deployments, infrastructure, and environments with minimal oversight, actively engaging in incident response, root cause analysis, and ensuring follow-through on corrective actions.
• Monitor system health, analyze logs and telemetry, and implement enhancements to reliability, performance, scalability, recoverability, and operational efficiency.
• Promote standardization of engineering practices, reusable automation, deployment patterns, architectural guardrails, and operational runbooks that enhance consistency across environments.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, support, operations, security, and architecture teams to resolve issues, support releases, manage dependencies, and refine platform and delivery processes.
• Apply established security, compliance, and operational standards in all engineering efforts while identifying opportunities to bolster controls, mitigate risks, enhance resilience, and improve audit preparedness.
• Engage in operational support and on-call responsibilities, taking ownership of critical issues until resolution, ensuring effective communication and follow-through.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive progressive professional experience in DevOps (8+ Years), platform engineering, systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a similar engineering discipline.
• Proven advanced working knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, cloud operations, release management, system reliability, and operational resilience.
• Strong practical experience with Linux and/or Windows administration, scripting, source control, cloud platforms, and troubleshooting in production or pre-production settings.
• Practical knowledge of containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging, operational support processes, and contemporary platform engineering practices.
• Established ability to independently lead complex projects and technical initiatives, manage competing priorities, and deliver dependable results in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Demonstrated experience in steering complex projects or technical workstreams, which includes organizing tasks, coordinating stakeholders, managing dependencies, identifying risks, and driving tasks to completion.
• Proven capability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and influence engineering practices, design methodologies, and operational standards without formal people management authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate across technical teams while effectively conveying technical issues, risks, recommendations, project status, and implementation strategies.
• Demonstrated accountability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and technical quality.
• Ability to responsibly utilize approved AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity, support troubleshooting, improve documentation, and assist engineering workflows.
• Lead the design and architecture of AI-driven DevOps platforms across CI/CD, observability, and operations.
• Foster organization-wide adoption of AI, MCP frameworks, and AIOps methodologies.
• Establish standards for AI usage, governance, security, and compliance throughout engineering workflows.
• Design end-to-end AI-enabled automation ecosystems (agents, workflows, deployment intelligence).
• Utilize AI to influence strategic decisions related to capacity planning, cost optimization, and reliability engineering.
• Mentor engineers and spearhead initiatives to enhance AI capabilities, frameworks, and best practices.
