This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and enhance the infrastructure that supports our AI platform.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across engineering and security to create scalable, resilient, and secure systems.
• Improve production monitoring and observability within containerized environments.
• Optimize our infrastructure-as-code deployments (using Pulumi) to prepare for the next phase of customer growth.
• Develop and enhance internal tools to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of our core SOC analyst product.
• Actively participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, ensuring high availability and quick response times.
• Contribute to future growth initiatives to support multi-cloud infrastructure (GCP, Azure).
• Write new product features when motivated and enthusiastic about doing so.
• Over 4 years of experience as a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineer with hands-on expertise.
• Proficiency in observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana) and distributed tracing techniques.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes (k8s).
• Software development proficiency in Python, with the ability to write production-quality code.
• Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems, including troubleshooting, identifying bottlenecks, and performance optimization strategies.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi preferred) and maintaining fully automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Capabilities in system administration and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with contemporary security best practices, common vulnerabilities, and securing distributed environments.
• Capacity to distinguish when a production-grade service is essential versus when a one-time or temporary solution is appropriate.
• An early-stage startup mentality; you thrive in ambiguity and execute with rapid efficiency.
