This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Design, develop, and take ownership of CI/CD pipeline architecture that supports application teams using Angular, Java, and PHP.
• Lead the strategy and standards for infrastructure as code utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Architect and manage solutions for containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate directly with full stack developers and manual QA testers to define and enhance release engineering practices.
• Enhance system reliability, performance monitoring, and security posture across various environments.
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution efforts for intricate infrastructure and deployment challenges.
• Oversee compliance initiatives related to relevant federal security and configuration management standards.
• Mentor mid-level and junior DevOps engineers, fostering their professional growth.
• Direct incident response initiatives and be involved in the on-call rotation.
• Set and maintain standards for documentation concerning pipelines, infrastructure, and operational procedures.
• Over 6 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure automation capacity.
• Demonstrated success in designing and owning CI/CD pipeline architecture (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms).
• Advanced expertise in infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
• Strong practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advanced skills in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Comprehensive understanding of version control workflows and branching strategies (Git).
• Experience in architecting solutions for cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
• Previous experience supporting federal government or defense-related programs is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with federal security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, RMF, ATO processes).
• An active or prior security clearance is advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Proven experience in mentoring or leading junior/mid-level engineers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and meet client eligibility criteria for federal projects.
