Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Developed and implemented infrastructure for a multi-tenant web application.

• Managed CI/CD systems, enhancing their reliability in building, testing, and releasing.

• Designed and enforced cloud security controls for workflows involving Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

• Conducted troubleshooting across the technology stack, including TypeScript/React/Node.js, Python tooling, and C++ dependency and build challenges.

• Designed and maintained Azure infrastructure ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

• Led the enhancement of CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, releasing, and deploying workflows.

• Directed the implementation of security architecture and controls for CMMC Level 2, supporting internal usage and customer CUI management in cloud-hosted applications.

• Contributed code as necessary in TypeScript and/or Python, while also addressing C++ build and dependency issues affecting project delivery.

• Managed desktop packaging and release for desktop applications (e.g., utilizing Electron).

• Established and documented operational standards and engineering best practices across DevOps, security, and release engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud platform infrastructure and architecture (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).

• Familiarity with compliance-oriented engineering for controlled data environments (CUI, CMMC, NIST-style controls).

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code and environmental automation.

• Strong grasp of architectural principles related to multi-tenant web applications.

• Solid software development and debugging abilities in TypeScript or Python.

• Basic understanding of C++.
