This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop internal tools to assist fellow engineers and the broader company in understanding and managing our system.

• Create and implement security best practices for our team and infrastructure.

• Minimize repetitive tasks through automation, including the construction and upkeep of CI/CD infrastructure.

• Establish infrastructure as code utilizing declarative provisioning tools.

• Design high signal-to-noise ratio monitoring and alerting policies and technologies to help us achieve our SLOs.

• Lead incident response efforts and conduct postmortems.

• Participate in critical architectural and operational decisions, such as the choice between microservices and monoliths, deployment strategies, technologies, policies, and more.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional/production experience in developing and utilizing infrastructure automation tools and techniques.

• A proven history of making enhancements in business-critical systems regarding stability, performance, and scalability.

• Demonstrated capability to deliver complete systems from inception to completion within a reasonable timeframe.

• Understand the implications of running software in production and be willing to share your expertise with the team.

• Ability to articulate complex technical challenges to non-technical audiences.

• Strong scripting abilities in one or more of the following languages: Python, Go.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.

• Familiarity with cloud environments.
