Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on Lambda, ECS, and ECR.

• Analyze, monitor, and assist in the decommissioning of legacy Windows Servers (2012 & 2022).

• Administer and support Windows Services and IIS-based applications, including .NET workloads.

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Automate the build and deployment processes for applications across all environments.

• Utilize Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure as code.

• Ensure that infrastructure is version-controlled, reproducible, and consistent across different environments.

• Develop and maintain internal platforms and tools to aid development teams.

• Implement monitoring and observability solutions to guarantee system reliability and performance.

• Analyze and enhance system performance, pinpointing and resolving bottlenecks.

• Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams within an agile framework.

• Apply security best practices and support compliance with industry regulations.

• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of infrastructure, processes, and tools.

• Share expertise and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software organizations in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering capacity.

• Strong practical experience with AWS services and cloud migration initiatives.

• Essential strong expertise in Windows System Administration.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Windows Servers (2012 & 2022), Windows Services, and IIS.

• Background in supporting and deploying .NET-based applications.

• Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting.

• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, especially Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Solid understanding of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).

• Practical experience with containerization, notably Docker.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation.
