This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of mass, mid-level, and major donors by managing cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and moves management.
• Create tailored donor engagement strategies to enhance relationships and boost philanthropic contributions.
• Conduct in-person donor visits, virtual meetings, and personalized follow-ups.
• Draft proposals, cases for support, impact reports, and gift agreements.
• Identify potential major donors through research, referrals, and community networking.
• Develop stewardship experiences that express gratitude and highlight donor impact.
• Support monthly giving and mass donor initiatives by fostering engagement and recruitment.
• Provide clinic tours and facilitate donor ministry experiences.
• Build relationships with corporations, foundations, civic organizations, and community leaders.
• Research, prepare, and manage grant proposals and reports.
• Seek sponsorships and establish strategic partnerships.
• Represent The Source at networking events, ministry fairs, community gatherings, and speaking engagements.
• Assist in organizing annual fundraising events, donor receptions, campaigns, and special initiatives.
• Recruit sponsors, table hosts, volunteers, and community advocates.
• Work closely with the Senior Director of Development on fundraising strategies and revenue objectives.
• Engage in prospect strategy meetings and moves management planning.
• Track fundraising performance and report on portfolio activities, pipeline progress, and donor engagement.
• Maintain comprehensive donor records and activity documentation in Salesforce.
• Participate in major annual fundraising events in Houston and Austin.
• Support cross-departmental collaboration to promote organizational unity and mission fulfillment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in fundraising, business development, sales, or relationship management.
• Proven track record of securing significant gifts or investments.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors and strategic partners.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated with outstanding initiative and follow-through.
• Display professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Ability to establish genuine relationships with donors, volunteers, church leaders, business executives, and community stakeholders.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor CRM systems; Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for donor meetings and special events.
• Must reside in the Austin/Houston service areas.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
• Competitive compensation ranging from $65,000 to $72,500.
