Senior Developer, COBOL, Microfocus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Become part of a global client renowned for its leadership in the logistics industry.

• Engage in COBOL Microfocus development tasks.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.

• Take part in code reviews and engage in technical discussions.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in COBOL Microfocus development.

• Proficiency in Microfocus COBOL is essential.

• Experience in logistics/WMS is required.

• Seeking a candidate with experience at Ingram Micro and familiarity with IMFirst; although this is a significant asset, it is not mandatory. Additionally, knowledge of Pro*C & Oracle DB is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX operating systems is a plus.

• Must possess an open mindset and the capability to delve into code for solutions.

• Should be a self-starter with a strong sense of motivation.

• Experience with JIRA and GitLab (or similar tools) is required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
