Senior Developer – AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing application design, API implementation, deployment, and feature monitoring.

• Integrate production applications with AI agent frameworks like LangChain and interoperability protocols such as MCP and A2A.

• Create secure, versioned application data models that ensure multi-tenant isolation, auditability, and data classification.

• Develop application services that consistently deploy across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Establish and achieve feature-level performance objectives through query optimization, code profiling, caching strategies, and security practices.

• Take ownership of application components, facilitate design and code reviews, mentor team members, and drive decisions in an async-first environment.

• Engage directly with customers and product leadership.

• Create and deliver production-ready AI capabilities built on a relational database engine.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years concentrated on data-intensive applications, database-adjacent features, or enterprise software.

• Full ownership of a significant production feature or module from its specification through to production.

• Hands-on experience in deploying, debugging, and managing application services across at least two major public clouds, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with vector databases, embedding pipelines, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation systems.

• Experience in building LLM-based applications or workflows using AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar tools.

• Strong proficiency in Python for AI application development, along with high proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, or C++.

• Solid practical relational database skills, including expertise in complex SQL, structural indexing, query optimization, transactions, and schema design.

• Experience with temporal data models, event-driven tracking, audit logs, or system-versioned tables.

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC, row-level security, and multi-tenant data isolation.

• Proficient in structured logging, distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry, and functional alerting.

• Experience in designing and implementing REST and/or gRPC APIs.
