Senior Designer – Field AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete experience: Create interaction flows and refined, high-quality visuals for all our field initiatives.

• Develop engaging AI patterns: Transform cutting-edge AI capabilities into interfaces that are clear and reliable, addressing confidence, uncertainty, and human-in-the-loop corrections in enjoyable ways.

• Design for on-site use, not for office settings: Create mobile-first experiences tailored for Superintendents and DCOs working in real jobsite environments.

• Enhance experiences with motion: Implement motion design effectively to ensure AI interactions feel intuitive, responsive, and engaging.

• Collaborate closely with your PM and engineering team: Work hand-in-hand with the Field AI PM and Engineering to transition from concept to launched product.

• Articulate the AI narrative: Present your work to executives and teams throughout the organization, using it to make Homebound's AI vision tangible and widely understood.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of product design experience, with a portfolio showcasing strong interaction design and exceptional visual craftsmanship.

• Proven experience in designing mobile applications (iOS preferred).

• Hands-on experience in integrating AI/ML patterns into products in engaging and user-friendly ways.

• Motion design expertise that can be applied to create captivating AI experiences.

• Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities, with direct experience presenting to executive-level audiences.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity comfortably - transforming novel, evolving AI capabilities into clear and intuitive user experiences.

• A collaborative and proactive approach; you naturally partner across product, engineering, and operations teams.

• Willingness to travel to Texas to collaborate directly with our field teams.

• Interest in construction and the built environment is advantageous; no prior industry experience is required, but a commitment to rapid learning in the domain is expected.
