Senior Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design engaging and interactive environments that enhance gameplay, facilitate navigation, and fully immerse the player.

• Work in collaboration with fellow designers and artists under the supervision of the Lead World Designer.

• Enliven the game world through effective environmental storytelling.

• Engage in regular playtests of your creations as well as those created by others.

• Offer and accept constructive critiques to improve overall design quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a design capacity.

• A portfolio showcasing professional level-design work that highlights skills in environmental storytelling.

• Profound understanding of artistic and design principles, encompassing composition, block-outs, and gameplay flow.

• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 world-building tools, including PGC and World Partition.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• A genuine passion for gaming, a positive mindset, and a strong eagerness to learn.

• Familiarity with visual design tools such as Photoshop (preferred).

• Extensive knowledge of the online RPG genre (preferred).
