Senior Design Expert – Paid AI Design Research Study

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in a compensated research study focused on the professional decision-making, creative methodologies, design quality, critique, and shipping benchmarks of expert designers.

• Participate as either the design expert being interviewed or as an interviewer leading structured sessions with fellow design professionals.

• Provide insights into professional design practices, decision-making, critique, quality standards, and creative problem-solving approaches.

• Articulate design decisions, the rationale behind them, trade-offs involved, areas that could be improved, and standards for production-ready work.

• Take part in organized and recorded remote research sessions.

• Prepare for each interview or task and conduct a brief review after each session.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level professional experience in design across one or more fields, such as Product Design, UX/UI Design, Brand Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, or closely related areas.

• A strong and clearly articulated viewpoint on design quality, creative craftsmanship, critique, and shipping standards.

• Capability to explain methodologies for addressing design challenges and decision-making throughout the creative journey.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey design rationale, trade-offs, and areas for enhancement.

• A professional portfolio that showcases design experience and skills.

• A website or publicly accessible portfolio link is preferred.

• Willingness to participate in structured, recorded remote research sessions.

• Only submit work that is authorized for public sharing or evaluation in research.

• Do not submit confidential, unreleased, proprietary, or NDA-protected materials.
