Senior Design Engineer – Transmission Line

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Design and evaluate transmission line systems, including their structures, conductors, and foundations.

• Generate comprehensive engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

• Perform site visits and inspections to verify adherence to design standards and safety regulations.

• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and fellow engineers to ensure the effective execution of projects.

• Employ advanced software tools for the modeling and simulation of transmission line performance.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.

• EIT certification and currently pursuing a Professional Engineer license.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in transmission line design projects within the utilities sector.

• Skilled in using engineering software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, MFAD, and LPile.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required for projects and client engagements.
