This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Establish and maintain trusted collaborative relationships with Product, Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Finance, and Sales; proactively seek opportunities for enhancements in policy, processes, and tools.
• Collaborate with Sales to formulate commercially viable deals by assessing tradeoffs involving price, term, volume, and risk, in accordance with Twilio’s financial guidelines.
• Oversee financial modeling and assessment of non-standard deal frameworks, ensuring they align with margin objectives, ARR targets, and long-term profitability.
• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process, directing deal strategy and coaching Sales on pricing, terms, and contract configurations.
• Handle intricate contracts and non-standard terms, which includes drafting and reviewing order forms in accordance with company policies.
• Deliver comprehensive quote-to-signature support, encompassing CPQ quote generation, pricing and approval processes, order form creation, and DocuSign execution.
• Uphold approval frameworks and policies; manage escalations and exceptions for strategic agreements.
• Mentor and assist Analysts (as designated), particularly regarding deal strategy, modeling, and contract structuring.
• Aid in the development and enhancement of contract processes, documentation, and enablement materials to facilitate scalable GTM execution.
• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Deal Management, Sales Operations, Sales, Finance, or Business Operations, preferably in contracting, procurement, or billing operations. If lacking a degree, a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required.
• Proven ability to manage numerous custom contract requests utilizing pre-approved language and/or creating new language.
• A readiness to collaborate closely with AEs throughout their sales cycle, deliver exceptional customer service, and facilitate the best possible sales outcomes for Twilio.
• A meticulous, detail-oriented skill set, capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, while remaining exceptionally organized.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including skills in financial analysis and scenario modeling.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to understand complex written concepts.
