Senior DBA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage both relational and non-relational database systems.

• Oversee and provide support for database environments.

• Ensure that environments are available, performing optimally, stable, and continuously operational.

• Administer databases that are critical and require high availability.

• Evaluate and optimize SQL queries.

• Operate and manage SQL Server Always On configurations.

• Utilize monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Grafana.

• Implement changes in production environments and handle necessary approvals.

• Create and manage support tickets with vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• Expertise in managing critical and high-availability database systems.

• Strong skills in analyzing and optimizing SQL queries.

• Familiarity with SQL Server Always On operations.

• Experience with monitoring tools, including Zabbix and Grafana.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.

• Proven track record of initiating changes in production environments and securing approvals.

• Capability to open and follow up on support tickets with vendors.

• Experience in monitoring database systems with an emphasis on availability and performance.

• Certifications in Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server are advantageous.

• Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard is a plus.

• Familiarity with RMAN for backup and restore processes is a plus.

• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a plus.
