Senior DBA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage and maintain both relational and non-relational databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.

• Provide support for critical and high-availability environments.

• Monitor database environments to identify risks associated with availability, capacity, and performance.

• Conduct query analysis and optimization.

• Identify and address database-related incidents.

• Oversee Change processes in production settings, managing approvals and implementations.

• Collaborate with vendors to initiate, track, and escalate support tickets.

• Work in close coordination with technical teams and other stakeholders involved in the support of environments.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of database monitoring, performance, and availability processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• Proven experience in managing critical and high-availability databases.

• Skilled in query analysis and optimization.

• Familiarity with SQL Server AlwaysOn.

• Proficient in using monitoring tools, particularly Zabbix and Grafana.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of ITSM tools.

• Experience in managing Changes in production environments, including tracking necessary approvals.

• Ability to open and manage vendor support tickets, ensuring follow-up and escalation as required.

• Experience in monitoring databases and identifying relevant metrics for tracking availability and performance.

• Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL is preferred.

• Certifications in Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server are advantageous.

• Experience with AWS Cloud environments is a plus.

• Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and SQL Server AlwaysOn is beneficial.

• Familiarity with backup and restore processes using RMAN is desirable.

• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a plus.

• Senior-level experience is essential.
