Senior DataOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for data and analytics initiatives.

• Provide support and oversee cloud data environments (GCP), emphasizing availability, security, and performance.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and data infrastructure teams.

• Adopt and implement best practices for DataOps and DevSecOps.

• Regularly assess the DevOps pipeline, making adjustments and enhancements to facilitate the delivery of new products and data pipelines in alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.

• Actively engage in the development of the company’s DevOps/DataOps architecture and strategic direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record as a Senior DevOps engineer.

• Demonstrated expertise with GCP data tools.

• Proficient in Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards).

• Extensive knowledge of GitOps.

• Practical experience with CI/CD for data projects (deploying pipelines, SQL scripts, notebooks, Python packages).

• Familiarity with test automation in data pipelines.

• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and containers in relation to data workloads.

• Experience with access control and IAM.

• Proficient in technical English (reading and writing).

• Microsoft DevOps certifications (preferred).

• GCP certifications (preferred).

• Experience in DataOps, MLOps, or data science-focused environments (preferred).

• Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) (preferred).

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) (preferred).

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (preferred).
