Senior Database Administrator – PostgreSQL, Oracle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the planning, operation, and continuous enhancement of our database infrastructure.

• Guarantee optimal performance, accessibility, and security of the databases.

• Manage administration, configuration, and upgrades of PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.

• Conduct performance evaluation and optimization.

• Design and manage high-availability and replication solutions.

• Oversee monitoring, capacity planning, and storage management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience as a database administrator in enterprise settings.

• Profound knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle.

• Proficient in administration, upgrades, patching, backup/recovery, and performance evaluation.

• Familiarity with high-availability and replication solutions such as Data Guard, HAS, Streaming Replication, or Patroni.

• Proficient in German and possess strong English language skills.
