SAP Basis Administrator – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take on technical responsibility and actively engage in the migration of our SAP systems to the cloud through SAP RISE.

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4HANA, EWM, Solution Manager, and SAP BusinessObjects.

• Plan and execute patch and upgrade management, including system updates and service pack installations.

• Perform performance analyses, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance an SAP monitoring system (covering job and IDoc monitoring, automations, and queues).

• Manage SAP authorization roles in alignment with company policies.

• Provide support for system and client copies, migrations, as well as backup and recovery processes.

• Offer technical support for additional SAP projects and collaborate closely with business units.

• Document systems, processes, and technical procedures thoroughly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist / Fachinformatiker) or a similar qualification.

• Several years of preferred experience in SAP Basis administration.

• Familiarity with cloud migrations, SAP RISE, monitoring tools, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of authorization management; experience with XITING is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, a team-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills.

• A structured and reliable working style, along with a willingness to learn new technologies.

• Proficient in written and spoken German; English skills are advantageous.
