This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise data warehouse solutions adhering to the Data Vault 2.0 methodology.
• Develop and enhance Hubs, Links, Satellites, PIT, and Bridge tables.
• Lead conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling efforts across various initiatives.
• Establish and advocate for data architecture standards, modeling guidelines, naming conventions, and documentation practices.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability of data warehouse architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction to Data Engineers and development teams.
• Promote the standardization and automation of ELT processes, metadata management, and deployment practices.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Governance teams, and other stakeholders to convert business requirements into robust data solutions.
• Assist reporting and analytics teams by delivering optimized and business-ready data structures.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehouse environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Data Vault 2.0 modeling and architecture.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Data Warehouse solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills coupled with strong data modeling expertise.
• Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks (DBT, Airflow, etc.).
• In-depth understanding of: Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Master Data Management (MDM), DataOps practices.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Proficiency in English.
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen, or possess a valid work permit for Portugal.
