Senior Data Visualization Engineer, Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• This position is not merely focused on data processing or creating intricate dashboards. We seek a professional who will serve as the official "translator" of data for the business. You will play a pivotal role in strategy, converting SQL into compelling narratives and recommendations that significantly impact the company.

• Your objective will be to "hunt" for insights within consumer behavior and market research, ensuring that data effectively addresses business inquiries in an intelligent, visual, and strategic way.

• Impact Analysis: Perform in-depth studies of consumer profiles and market dynamics.

• Executive Storytelling: Convert complex data into clear, engaging, and persuasive presentations (emphasizing PowerPoint and oral communication).

• Influence and Advocacy: Champion your recommendations and actively engage in discussions and meetings with the executive team.

• Business Partnership: Work with a product/business-oriented mindset closely aligned with UX Designers, ensuring analyses prioritize customer experience.

• Versatile Interface: Collaborate with various departments to identify pain points and propose evidence-based solutions, aiding financial and performance-related decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience with visualization tools (Power BI), concentrating on extracting insights.

• Advanced SQL: Expertise in independently extracting and manipulating large datasets.

• Exceptional Communication: Capability to synthesize information and the confidence to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences (particularly executives).

• Investigative Mindset: Proactive approach to delve deeper than the surface and understand the "why" behind the data.

• Delivery Focus: Ability to craft logical narratives using presentation tools (PowerPoint or Google Slides).

• Experience in Insights: Previous background in consumer behavior, CRM, or market analysis.

• Approximately 3 years of experience in market-focused data analysis, employing statistical and analytical techniques to derive strategic insights and aid in decision-making.

• Strong experience in PySpark, with the capability to extract, transform, and manipulate large datasets (Big Data), working independently to build pipelines and enhance analytical processes.

• Background in Financial Markets.
