Senior Data Scientist, Platform Inference – MarTech DS Measurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Marketing Mix Modeling: Create, develop, and sustain MMM models that quantify incremental channel impacts, encompassing prior elicitation, adstock/saturation modeling, validation, and sensitivity analysis.

• Geo-Based Measurement: Construct and assess geo-experiments (synthetic control, difference-in-differences) to evaluate marketing incrementality and substantiate MMM outputs.

• Measurement Infrastructure: Establish and uphold data pipelines and automated measurement systems to ensure reproducibility and scalability.

• AI-Accelerated Prototyping: Employ AI agent workflows to swiftly create v0 prototypes and spec-driven model implementations, reducing weeks of iteration into mere days.

• Productionalization: Transform research prototypes into production-quality systems adhering to rigorous unit testing, data validation, and code review standards.

• Insight Communication: Convert intricate measurement results into clear narratives and confident budget recommendations for both Marketing and Finance stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of industry experience in a quantitative analysis position with a Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science, statistics, etc.), or a minimum of 2 years of experience with a Ph.D.

• Extensive, practical experience in creating and validating Marketing Mix Models in a production environment.

• Strong comprehension of causal inference techniques, including geo-experimentation and observational methods.

• Proficiency in Python and R for statistical modeling, as well as SQL for data manipulation.

• Capability to articulate complex ideas clearly to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.

• Demonstrated success in addressing business challenges using data science methodologies.
