This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Collaborate with our Product and Business Teams to comprehend their requirements, convert them into data science solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
• Design and execute data science solutions (ML models, GenAI products, hybrid methods, data analytics) to enhance marketing and product strategies, improve user experience, and optimize targeting.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., other Data&AI groups, Technology teams) to guarantee smooth integration of data-driven initiatives.
• Remain at the forefront by exploring innovative techniques and staying updated on emerging trends in Data Science & AI.
• Present insights and recommendations to management, business teams, and members of the data community.
• Oversee end-to-end data products: assess business needs (skills: business understanding, communication), analyze challenges and propose solutions (data analytics), develop a resolution (skills: practical ML/AI), share insights and outcomes (skills: communication, simplifying technical concepts for non-technical audiences, ppt/BI), and maintain the solution (skills: fundamental BI skills, model monitoring).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Econometrics.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
• Experience in consulting and marketing analytics is advantageous.
• Proficient in both Polish and English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
• Strong understanding of ML solutions and their effect on business and user experience (including clustering, recommender systems, regression, classification, etc.).
• Practical experience working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python 3, along with ML and data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, TF/Pytorch, etc.).
• Experience in writing well-organized code: functions, classes, modules.
• Knowledge and experience with PySpark, relational databases, and cloud solutions (e.g., Databricks, Azure, GCP, AWS, Snowflake).
• Familiarity with leveraging CI/CD pipelines in data-driven products (preferable).
• Experience with data pipeline frameworks, ideally Kedro (preferable).
• Proficiency with CLI tools: bash/zsh (preferable).
