Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, execute, and enhance machine learning systems.

• Participate in the entire lifecycle of machine learning applications, from research through prototyping to deployment.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clients to establish the vision and strategy for a specific product.

⛳️ Requirements

• A versatile data science engineer capable of navigating both domains with minimal assistance.

• Familiarity with the typical lifecycle of machine learning product development, from initial concept to deployment. Experience in Gen AI application or agent development is advantageous.

• Proficient programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Golang). Experience with frameworks such as Langchain and OpenAI Agent SDK is a bonus.

• Proven experience in building microservices, with a preference for candidates who have worked with Golang.

• Significant experience in constructing and managing infrastructure for deploying and operating ML models in a production environment.

• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark. Familiarity with Spark's MLlib, AWS, Databricks, and MLFlow is a plus.

• Some knowledge of statistics and machine learning, coupled with practical experience in applying these skills to address real-world challenges.

• Hands-on approach, capable of quickly adapting to new tools and languages, and enthusiastic about building and experimenting.

• Ability to work in tandem with experienced engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver new customer-facing features and products.

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, along with 4-6 years of industry or equivalent experience.
