Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning, Riesgo de Crédito

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement machine learning models and artificial intelligence techniques to address business challenges.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation using rigorous methodologies.

• Engage in model validation through techniques such as cross-validation, bias/variance analysis, and robustness testing.

• Implement and maintain machine learning pipelines (training, inference, and monitoring) adhering to software quality standards.

• Contribute to the interpretability of models and documentation within regulated environments.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings to both technical and business-oriented profiles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree (or in the final year) in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and optimization.

• Proficiency in Python programming (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).

• Practical experience with machine learning libraries and knowledge of at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch).

• Understanding of model evaluation metrics (AUC, precision/recall, RMSE, etc.).

• Proficient in SQL for data querying.

• Professional level of English.
