Senior Data Scientist – LatAm Only

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead forecasting projects by crafting and executing sophisticated time series models

• Create scalable machine learning solutions aimed at risk management, fraud detection, and personalized product offerings

• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders

• Foster innovation in fintech applications through the use of advanced methodologies

• Ensure regulatory compliance in model development that aligns with industry standards

• Influence the data science strategy by pinpointing opportunities for predictive modeling

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in machine learning and deep learning

• Solid understanding of fintech products and risk management principles

• Strong background in probability, statistics, and econometrics

• Proficiency in time series forecasting techniques (ARIMA, SARIMA, SARIMAX, etc.)

• Familiarity with machine learning methods for sequential data (RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers)

• Expertise in ML/DL frameworks using Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)

• Capability to access data through APIs, SFTP, or CSV formats

• Experience with explainable AI in deep learning approaches for forecasting time series

• Proven track record in stakeholder management for data-driven decision making
