This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Evaluate, maintain, and improve our marketing strategies across various distribution channels.
• Broaden and diversify Root’s direct marketing portfolio by guiding new mid-upper funnel channels from research and development to production.
• Quickly prototype, assess, and refine innovative marketing strategies in the mid and upper funnel.
• Create time- and cost-effective A/B tests that allow for precise measurement of the incremental profit impact from marketing campaigns.
• Provide clear and timely communication of research findings that drive action among leaders and stakeholders.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Analytics.
• A Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, or a closely related field.
• Experience in developing targeted, data-driven marketing strategies and implementing them on demand-side platforms (DSPs) such as The Trade Desk, DV360, or Meta.
• Ability to create and deploy machine learning targeting models for social, video, display, and/or email campaigns.
• Skill in designing and executing A/B tests to evaluate the incremental lift of new campaigns.
• Proficiency in using modern packages in Python or R.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, SageMaker, S3, or Athena.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Telecommuting is allowed within the U.S.
• Less than 5% domestic travel is required to Columbus, OH for company training and conference events.
