Senior Data Scientist – GenAI, Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, train, and implement Machine Learning and Generative AI models.

• Work with LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

• Assess and optimize solutions while considering cost, latency, and response quality.

• Construct ingestion and processing pipelines for textual data using vector databases.

• Develop APIs and AI applications utilizing LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock.

• Create computer vision solutions for image classification, object detection, and semantic segmentation.

• Build and maintain data pipelines, models, and AI applications in production.

• Engage with AWS and Azure services to develop scalable solutions.

• Ensure the quality, security, performance, and governance of the solutions.

• Assist Product Owners and stakeholders in the technical definition of initiatives.

• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and SQL.

• Solid experience in Machine Learning (both supervised and unsupervised models).

• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures.

• Experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph.

• Knowledge of vector databases, such as OpenSearch.

• Experience with Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch.

• Experience in Cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).

• Familiarity with evaluation metrics for models and AI systems.

• Experience with AWS Bedrock and OpenAI.

• Knowledge of Azure Document Intelligence.

• Experience in computer vision.

• Understanding of MLOps and model monitoring.

• Experience with distributed applications, containerization, and serverless architectures.

• Background in agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
