Senior Data Scientist – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive Ownership: Design, test, and implement forecasting algorithms and optimization models. Manage the entire production lifecycle, including model monitoring, incident handling, and performance enhancement.

• Enhance Business Results: Scale forecasting models to optimize inventory restocking, boost product availability, and minimize delivery delays.

• Collaborate within Cross-Functional Teams: Engage with various disciplines, including product management, engineering, and design.

• Serve as a Technical Reference: Influence major architectural decisions and ensure model integration aligns with the broader platform design, maintaining reliability, low latency, and seamless incorporation with product features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Data Science, focusing on the design of robust end-to-end data workflows.

• A minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience with forecasting techniques.

• Proficiency in Python, Docker, and cloud services (AWS or GCP) at an expert level.

• Strong understanding of the complete model lifecycle.

• Extensive operational knowledge of AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their application in critical systems.

• Experience with Neural Networks and comprehensive model lifecycle management, including drift detection and rollback strategies.

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (C1 level) is essential.
