Senior Data Scientist – f/m/x

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and implement scalable machine learning models aimed at enhancing vehicle sales and managing demand.

• Recognize business opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to convert intricate business requirements into machine-learning solutions that promote growth and impact.

• Work alongside engineering and product teams to integrate data science services into AUTO1's engineering infrastructure.

• Oversee and enhance model performance in production, communicate findings to stakeholders, and formulate actionable next steps.

• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, establish technical direction, and ensure adherence to best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–3 years of practical experience with various machine learning techniques, encompassing both traditional machine learning and neural networks.

• A solid foundation in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design (including A/B testing).

• Extensive expertise in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (such as PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow), with best practices in coding and code reviews utilizing git/GitHub.

• A proven history of managing the complete lifecycle of data science projects, from initial design and development to deploying robust models in production, utilizing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong communication and visualization capabilities, with experience in presenting information clearly and concisely to peers, leadership, and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in effective collaboration; a natural team player who fluently communicates in English.
