Senior Data Scientist – Customer Loyalty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement causal inference models (such as uplift modeling, synthetic control, and double machine learning) to gain insights into the key factors influencing customer loyalty and assess the incremental effects of marketing strategies.

• Create robust forecasting and predictive models based on machine learning to evaluate customer lifetime value (LTV) and predict customer churn.

• Set up foundational data modeling frameworks for a newly established Business Unit, converting raw transactional data into scalable features.

• Examine intricate customer behaviors, purchasing patterns, and engagement metrics to devise strategies aimed at generating direct revenue.

• Conduct extensive data extraction, transformation, and analysis utilizing SQL.

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and business teams to comprehend loyalty needs and convert business challenges into analytical solutions.

• Deliver model insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders, effectively differentiating between correlation and causation.

• Facilitate workshops and discussions on customer analytics strategy with clients.

• Implement and operationalize models within cloud environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in applied data science or advanced analytics.

• More than 4 years of practical experience in customer analytics, customer loyalty initiatives, churn prediction, or behavioral monetization.

• Strong expertise in consumer-facing sectors such as CPG, FMCG, or retail.

• Advanced skills in Python (including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and causal inference libraries (for instance, EconML, DoWhy, CausalML).

• Proficient in SQL for large-scale data processing and intricate data modeling tasks.

• Proven track record of developing data models and analytics capabilities from the ground up for new business units or projects.
