Senior Data Scientist, Crypto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations teams to guide and shape product strategy, prioritization, and decision-making.

• Create metrics, data models, and analytical frameworks that enhance the understanding of customer behavior and business performance among teams.

• Discover opportunities to enhance customer experience, drive growth, improve retention, and boost operational efficiency through data analysis.

• Convert complex business inquiries into straightforward recommendations and actionable insights.

• Actively identify trends, risks, and opportunities that enable the team to concentrate on the most impactful work.

• Work alongside Analytics Engineering to enhance the quality, scalability, and usability of data foundations for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data science, product analytics, experimentation, or a related domain.

• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills using SQL and Python.

• Capability to influence product or business decisions through data and effective communication.

• Strong product insight and the ability to link customer behavior with business outcomes.

• Comfortable working across functions and fostering robust relationships across various disciplines.

• Familiar with experimentation and causal inference methodologies.

• Experience with DBT or modern data modeling tools.

• Knowledge of fintech, investing, or cryptocurrency products.

• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance analysis, communication, or decision-making processes.
