Senior Data Scientist, Biostatistics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Work in close collaboration with biostatisticians and cross-functional teams.

• Enhance and refine statistical modeling techniques and methodologies.

• Create and develop robust workflows and packages using R.

• Apply best practices for testing, documentation, and CI/CD in statistical projects.

• Assist in deploying models as scalable, production-ready software on cloud platforms.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to elevate modeling and engineering standards.

• Ensure the reproducibility, maintainability, and performance of statistical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in statistics, preferably with experience as a biostatistician.

• Advanced skills in R, including package development expertise.

• Significant experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and documentation methodologies.

• Deep understanding of reproducible research and robust statistical modeling practices.

• Experience in designing scalable R-based processes for modeling workflows.

• Knowledge of deploying models or analytical workflows in production environments.

• Experience with API development or integration is a plus.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to translate complex statistical concepts into clear, actionable guidance.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory mindset.
