This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as an embedded data lead.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of the product, including its strategy, objectives, roadmap, and user base, to identify significant strategic opportunities and risks.

• Utilize data to guide discussions: present data-driven hypotheses, question assumptions, frame trade-offs, and prioritize strategically.

• Convert ambiguous product ideas into precise analytical questions and design the appropriate methodologies to address them.

• Serve as the definitive source for KPIs and product metrics: assist in defining and monitoring them, while identifying trends and drivers.

• Influence decision-making with data: prioritize analyses that significantly impact product decisions and outcomes, reframe analysis requests that lack value into those that do, and execute the resulting analyses effectively and promptly.

• Lead experimentation with care: advise the team on when to experiment and when not to, facilitate self-service experimentation, and emphasize frequent, small experiments to accelerate learning.

• Recognize opportunities where product strategy and concepts could be improved, simplified, or expedited through AI integration (ML or GenAI), and assist in this integration process.

• Present yourself as a collaborative leader rather than merely a service provider, focusing work on the most critical tasks.

• Manage the complete process of transforming clinical, member, and claims data from our data warehouse into actionable insights: collaborate with stakeholders to design reports and dashboards that address real business questions, construct the data flows to support these initiatives, and develop the necessary data transformation pipelines.
