This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders from Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to define business challenges and pinpoint where data science and analytics can create significant value.
β’ Create and implement data science models (such as LTV prediction, churn/retention modeling, propensity scoring, and forecasting) to guide growth and operational strategies.
β’ Conduct impactful exploratory and ad-hoc analyses to resolve critical business inquiries and facilitate swift strategic decisions.
β’ Partner with Analytics Engineering to convert business requirements into scalable datasets, feature sets, and production-ready models.
β’ Assist in defining and standardizing essential business metrics, ensuring consistency between analytical outputs and modeled insights.
β’ Support the implementation and adoption of our dbt project and BI tools, ensuring that models and analyses are founded on trustworthy, well-organized data.
β’ Develop and sustain dashboards and reporting frameworks that enhance and operationalize data science insights.
β’ Design, analyze, and interpret experiments (A/B tests) to assess product, marketing, and lifecycle initiatives.
β’ Examine performance variations, identify root causes, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
β’ Aid in establishing best practices for data science and analytics as the function expands.
β’ Collaborate with data and engineering teams to ensure analytical efforts are built on scalable, reliable data models.
β’ Over 6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related quantitative roles.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with modern cloud data warehouses (such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks) and tools like dbt.
β’ Expertise in Python (or similar languages) for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
β’ Experience in constructing and applying models (like LTV, churn/retention, forecasting, MTA/MMM, propensity) within a business context.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of DTC/ecommerce metrics (including CAC, LTV, cohort analysis, retention) and experimentation (A/B testing).
β’ Demonstrated ability to drive business impact through data, working collaboratively across functions while balancing analytics, modeling, and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
