Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Spearhead intricate R&D projects: drive innovation and research in LLMs, NLP, machine learning, and graph analytics, transforming advanced methodologies into production-ready solutions.

• Oversee the complete data science lifecycle: from discovery, framing, and exploration to deployment, customer delivery, and ongoing monitoring.

• Transform ambiguous challenges into clear problem statements and devise practical, cutting-edge solutions that align with business and regulatory requirements.

• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders: collaborate to co-create use cases, establish success metrics, and ensure that solutions are adopted, measurable, and impactful.

• Mentor and support colleagues: enhance technical excellence, promote knowledge-sharing, and establish best practices for experimentation, testing, and deployment.

• Rapidly prototype: investigate new concepts and swiftly validate hypotheses, while balancing innovation with scalability and maintainability.

• Guarantee production success: design, implement, and optimize pipelines for data integration, validation, monitoring, and retraining to maintain long-term model performance.

• Communicate effectively: simplify technical complexities into persuasive business insights, assisting stakeholders in making informed decisions.

• Advocate for excellence in execution: implement best practices in MLOps, DataOps, and software engineering to deliver reproducible, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

• Continuously enhance tooling and processes that expedite delivery, experimentation, and collaboration across the data science function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in Singapore (remote-first team; flexible working environment)

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

• Over 6 years of practical experience in delivering data science projects from research to production, preferably in mission-critical areas

• Proven expertise with LLMs and contemporary NLP frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, HuggingFace, etc.)

• Strong foundation in machine learning, graph analytics, anomaly detection, and handling unstructured data workflows

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with a history of writing clean, modular, testable, and production-ready code

• Experience with large-scale data platforms (e.g., PySpark, BigQuery) and scalable ML deployments

• Solid understanding of MLOps and DataOps, including CI/CD, monitoring, retraining, and reproducibility

• Comfortable working in Linux, Git, Docker, and utilizing modern collaboration workflows

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills: capable of translating technical insights into business outcomes and influencing at all levels

• Proven capability to drive measurable impact: combining cutting-edge research with practical, customer-focused implementation
