Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct rapid analyses and on-the-fly studies to aid in strategic decision-making, addressing specific inquiries from various departments within the organization;

• Oversee and execute end-to-end, low-complexity data projects, ensuring both efficiency and innovation;

• Engage actively in medium-complexity projects, performing tasks with independence and analytical accuracy;

• Collaborate on high-complexity projects, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions under the guidance of senior personnel;

• Develop classification and regression algorithms while constructing models to uncover non-linear relationships among variables;

• Comprehend and apply neural networks in suitable contexts;

• Produce and sustain both technical and business documentation, including presentations pertinent to data initiatives;

• Advocate for a data-driven culture across teams, serving as a data evangelist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL, data visualization tools (Metabase, Tableau), Python, along with its statistical and visualization libraries;

• Ability to comprehend and manipulate extensive datasets;

• Demonstrated experience in constructing machine learning models and delivering analytical solutions with minimal oversight;

• Familiarity with AWS tools and services;

• Proficient in Agile methodology and acquainted with all related ceremonies;

• Strong critical thinking skills along with the capacity to perform specialized tasks requiring in-depth domain knowledge;

• Proactive with excellent interpersonal abilities, including negotiation and active listening skills;

• Strong commitment to deadlines and responsibilities;

• A passion for mathematics, statistics, science, and programming, with the capability to apply these skills to generate business impact;

• Ability to keep abreast of the latest trends in machine learning, data science, and technology.
