Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop models and conduct statistical analyses that reveal insights regarding outcomes and performance within Inspiren’s systems.

• Create and execute thorough evaluations, including offline and online experiments (A/B testing, shadow deployments, etc.) for new models and product modifications.

• Discover, assess, and incorporate new datasets that enhance our learning and measurement capabilities.

• Lead investigations into the root causes when models or systems do not perform satisfactorily in real-world applications.

• Integrate AI into data science processes, utilizing LLMs and autonomous tooling.

• Strategize on how to merge various modalities and sensor data into the development of algorithms and the assessment of performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data science, specifically emphasizing statistical modeling and machine learning systems.

• Solid foundation in modeling and statistics.

• Proven experience collaborating with ML engineering teams.

• Proficiency in a contemporary data science stack: Python, Pandas, PyTorch, Databricks, MLflow, or comparable tools.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools (LLMs, coding assistants, autonomous workflows).

• Strong analytical instincts with a practical approach to solutions in real-world scenarios.

• Team-oriented mindset, capable of collaborating with diverse groups.

• Competence in defining, prioritizing, and independently delivering tasks.

• Enthusiasm for working in an early-stage startup environment.
