Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and uphold robust data pipelines, overseeing the journey from event generation through ETL to organized and intelligent storage.

• Extract, process, and integrate data via APIs and webhooks, ensuring quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the entire process.

• Create reporting layers—dashboards, automated reports, and notifications—to provide insights across various teams.

• Transform raw data into meaningful structures for CRM, product, and monetization teams.

• Develop predictive and optimization models for areas such as player lifetime value, churn prediction, monetization strategies, and game recommendations.

• Establish and execute multivariate testing frameworks to enhance product and campaign performance.

• Investigate and leverage cutting-edge AI and ML techniques in real-time processes, proposing innovative solutions for real-world challenges.

• Collaborate and influence cross-functional teams—including CRM, Server, Data Engineering, and Leadership—to swiftly and effectively implement end-to-end solutions.

• Align data initiatives with business objectives and ROI considerations, applying pragmatic 80/20 thinking to maximize impact.

• Possess a deep understanding of, and navigate, the intricate mechanics of our ecosystem—game economies, monetization levers, RTPs, and more.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline.

• Experience in programming with a scripting language such as Python or R.

• Fundamental knowledge of statistics and machine learning models.

• Familiarity with statistical testing, best practices in data visualization, and data mining.

• Understanding of cloud computing environments and their components (at least one among AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Resilience in facing challenging tasks.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a strong inclination for sanity checks and clean delivery.

• Nice to have: PhD in a quantitative field or 4+ years of professional experience in a relevant domain (technology/gaming/algorithms/research, etc.).

• Experience with the GCP tech stack.

• A solid understanding of database design and management.

• Experience in developing and applying machine learning algorithms to real-world business issues.

• Experience in Java and/or C++.

• Background in AI productionisation and Agentic deployment.
