Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and statistical solutions.

• Analyze extensive and intricate datasets to derive meaningful insights.

• Convert business challenges into analytical frameworks and data-driven solutions.

• Create predictive and prescriptive models (regression, classification, clustering, forecasting).

• Collaborate with Data Engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines.

• Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Execute model validation, monitoring, and performance optimization strategies.

• Ensure adherence to data quality, governance, and compliance standards.

• Provide mentorship to junior data scientists or analysts when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English and Spanish is essential. (B2 - C1)

• 5–7 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.

• Strong programming expertise in Python (preferred) or R.

• Familiarity with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.

• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.

• Proficient in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and business acumen.
