Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine behavioral trends throughout the customer lifecycle to uncover patterns, usage archetypes, and opportunities for enhancing adoption, engagement, and retention.

• Create experiments and measurement strategies to assess the effects of product and marketing modifications, enabling teams to make decisions based on data rather than intuition.

• Develop models and datasets that enhance how teams segment customers, predict outcomes, and recognize trends.

• Utilize machine learning and AI techniques to address practical challenges in both internal decision-making and customer-facing situations.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering to enhance the quality, reliability, and accessibility of essential data and metrics.

• Convey insights clearly and effectively, allowing teams to make informed decisions without requiring a background in statistics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a Data Science position within a B2B SaaS environment or a similar product- or growth-oriented setting.

• Solid grounding in statistics, experimentation, and behavioral analytics, with the capability to apply these skills pragmatically to real-world product and business challenges.

• Proficient in SQL and Python for large-scale analysis, modeling, and data exploration.

• Familiarity with contemporary cloud data platforms (such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar); experience with dbt is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; you can articulate complex analyses clearly to PMs, marketers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive ownership mindset; you help define problems and drive progress, rather than waiting for perfect requirements.
