This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Design and develop data science models and product features to meet business objectives.
• Comprehend and convert business requirements from both internal and external stakeholders into data products and features.
• Utilize cutting-edge AI and machine learning techniques to address analytical challenges.
• Investigate and determine suitable AI models that align with business requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to create integrated analytic solutions that encompass data pipelines, modeling, and dashboards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in data and analytics during client engagements to enhance the value customers derive from our products.
• Partner with subject matter experts to verify analytical insights and findings.
• Analyze and present actionable insights to both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Create reports and dashboards to convey key insights to stakeholders.
• Develop Proof of Concepts and operational demonstrations.
• Assign tasks to and mentor junior data scientists.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or related fields.
• Over 5 years of experience in a commercial advanced analytics setting.
• Strong abilities in constructing statistical and data science models.
• Capable of creating or adapting existing AI/ML techniques to fit business requirements.
• Practical experience with generative AI, LLMs, and other advanced AI methodologies.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is highly valued.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) applications such as QuickSight, S3, Sagemaker, and HealthLake.
