Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with pharmaceutical and clinical stakeholders to comprehend analytical needs.

• Develop and sustain scalable analytics solutions utilizing Python/R, SQL, and Databricks.

• Examine and interpret intricate datasets from clinical trials and the pharmaceutical sector.

• Integrate and utilize clinical data sources such as DQS and Citeline effectively.

• Provide insights that facilitate evidence-based decision-making for clinical and business teams.

• Advocate for best practices in data quality, governance, and reproducibility.

• Serve as a reliable analytics partner within multidisciplinary client teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Python and/or R (mandatory).

• Advanced SQL capabilities with experience in querying and transforming complex datasets.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing Databricks in production analytics settings.

• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in handling large, complex data sets.

• Experience in clearly communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in support of clinical trials, trial design, and biostatistics.

• Solid understanding of clinical trial data sources, including DQS, Citeline, or related platforms.

• Experience with Azure-based data and analytics solutions.

• Familiarity with regulated data environments and high data quality standards.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and relationship building.

• Ability to balance technical execution with business and domain context.

• Confident communicator, capable of articulating complex analytical findings in a clear and engaging manner.
