Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Practical experience in developing, fine-tuning, and utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored to specific business requirements, particularly focusing on AWS Bedrock.

• Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods for text analysis, extraction, and generation.

• Capability to establish a comprehensive data pipeline, encompassing acquisition, processing, refinement, and result delivery.

• Select and implement sophisticated Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, utilizing both supervised and unsupervised models.

• Strong analytical skills to address business challenges through data-driven methodologies.

• Advanced back-end development expertise, preferably with FastAPI, along with experience in WebSocket communication for real-time applications.

• Create and maintain recommendation, classification, and prediction models aimed at addressing market challenges.

• Operate using agile methodologies with a strong emphasis on delivering value to customers.

• Develop and present both technical and executive reports to validate adopted techniques and support decision-making processes.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends in Generative AI, recommending ongoing innovations.

• We would also appreciate it if you possess: ➕ Experience with MLOps, which includes monitoring, versioning, and scaling models in production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid background with AWS Bedrock and other Generative AI tools on AWS.

• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), encompassing development, fine-tuning, and customization of open-source models for tailored applications.

• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and embeddings.

• Advanced understanding of statistics, as well as supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.

• Experience with Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Strong comprehension of deep learning architectures related to NLP and generative AI.

• Experience in developing APIs, particularly with FastAPI.

• Proficiency in code versioning tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

• Experience in managing, structuring, and processing large datasets.

• Clear and effective communication skills, suitable for both technical teams and business stakeholders.
