This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of intricate data science and mathematics projects.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to establish project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Identify potential risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and ensure projects are completed successfully.
• Design and implement sophisticated statistical, predictive, and machine learning models.
• Conduct advanced exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover actionable insights.
• Develop and enhance mathematical models for simulation, optimization, and forecasting tasks.
• Lead the design, development, and optimization of algorithms for data processing, analysis, and modeling.
• Validate and deploy algorithms in operational settings.
• Foster innovation by researching and applying cutting-edge techniques in data science, artificial intelligence, and mathematics.
• Utilize advanced programming skills in Python, R, MATLAB, or other similar languages.
• Employ data visualization tools to present compelling insights.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction with deliverables.
• Prepare and present high-quality technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead research efforts to explore emerging techniques and technologies in data science.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in data science, mathematics, or similar fields.
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, or comparable languages.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and mathematical modeling.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib) and data engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage teams, and produce high-quality results.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
