Senior Data Science Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of machine learning models, from preliminary research and hypothesis validation to deployment in production and ongoing maintenance.

• Convert intricate business objectives into clearly defined Data Science challenges and measurable metrics.

• Create and develop robust, scalable Machine Learning systems from the ground up, encompassing data analysis, annotation, and processing pipelines.

• Contribute to the overall architecture of the system and integrate ML models with current backend services and infrastructure.

• Monitor and sustain deployed models, proactively detecting and resolving issues like concept drift to maintain consistent performance.

• Assist in the development and advancement of team members through mentorship.

• Promote continuous enhancement by automating repetitive tasks and suggesting innovative solutions that yield substantial business impact.

• Clearly and concisely communicate complex technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a Data Science or Machine Learning capacity.

• Expert-level knowledge of Python and its essential data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).

• Extensive expertise in both classic machine learning and deep learning methodologies.

• Experience in the design of ML systems and MLOps practices.

• Demonstrated experience with event systems, deployment environments, and the maintenance of production services.

• Familiarity with technologies for streaming, batch, and asynchronous data processing.

• Proficiency in at least one specialized ML domain, such as Computer Vision (CV) or Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Strong comprehension of software system design principles.

• Experience in experimental design to validate hypotheses and assess the effectiveness of solutions.

• A solid understanding of security, risk, and control concepts in a production context.

• Proficiency in the Russian language is required.
