This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate across teams with Product and subject matter experts to envision, prototype, and develop data solutions.
• Integrate and enhance multi-source healthcare datasets (such as claims, contract rates, demographics) into high-quality, analytics-ready data models that drive both internal and external products.
• Design and sustain data engineering systems that facilitate AI use cases, including scalable ingestion pipelines, feature generation, and downstream products.
• Participate in the creation, maintenance, and testing of data pipelines.
• Create technical documentation for both internal and external audiences.
• Gather and prioritize technical and product feedback from internal stakeholders.
• Iterate swiftly with a focus on delivering value.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/knowledge. We welcome strong candidates with non-traditional educational backgrounds.
• Over 4 years of experience in developing data models, pipelines, and comprehensive analytical solutions utilizing Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with contemporary AI tooling and frameworks (for example, OpenAI APIs, vector databases such as Pinecone/Weaviate, embedding workflows, RAG architectures).
• Knowledge of evaluation strategies and monitoring for LLM-based systems (including methods for hallucination mitigation, evaluation frameworks, and feedback loops).
• Capability to design data systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and cost efficiency, particularly for compute- and data-intensive workloads.
• Solid understanding of data architecture and engineering practices, including ETL/ELT workflows, orchestration tools (like Airflow, dbt), and cloud storage solutions (such as S3, Redshift).
• An entrepreneurial mindset: you prioritize tasks with a keen eye on evolving business needs and can independently solve problems.
• Comfortable working remotely within a collaborative, technical team environment.
